About
Hello! I’m a technologist and entrepreneur from Massachusetts. I’m a proud generalist — software development, product design, research, marketing, strategy. I like working on interesting problems and building things that are useful, fun, or both.
I’m a co-founder at Flojo, Inc., where we build software for people figuring out how AI fits into their work. We’re building FloImg (open source image tools) and The Competitive Space (visual competitive intelligence).
Before Flojo, I spent over a decade in software development. I’ve held IC and leadership roles, mostly at early-stage startups. I studied computer science at UMass Amherst and have worked across healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, and gaming. One highlight: my team built the official online Covid-19 screener for Massachusetts and Virginia in early 2020, helping millions of people make health decisions during the pandemic.
Outside of work, I’m an avid reader with curiosity about pretty much everything. I root for my Boston teams despite living in enemy territory. Many moons ago, I was a highly-ranked online tournament poker player — I still think it taught me more about decision-making and risk than anything else I’ve done.
I live in the DC area with my wife Becki, daughter Adaline, and dog Meeko.
Check out what I’m up to more presently on my now page. Oh, and here are some disclaimers.
If you want to get in touch, find me on LinkedIn or email. I love meeting other founders, builders, and makers.
